We spec, monitor and maintain our vehicles for the worst-case day, not the average one — stronger units for frozen duty, deeper insulation, and pre-cooling as standard so the body is already cold before cargo goes in. The distances are real. An inter-emirate run from a Dubai cold store to the northern emirates is long, and every extra hour on the road is an hour the chain has to hold.
